To create the effect, I start with a sheet of black glass as a base. On this, I set little stacks of opaque glass pieces of different colour. In the kiln, those colorful stacks melt down and fuse with the black base into one even piece. The fun part comes next: Cutting the 1/4 inch glass panel into individual pieces to create unique jewellery.
